Little Ridge Intermediate School

My name is Austin Chapman. I have been in law enforcement for the last seven years. I have been the SRO at Little Ridge Intermediate School for the last four years. I am also the Sergeant for the Fort Payne Police Department’s SRO division. My wife, Laura Beth, and I have been married for six years. 

At Little Ridge, my goal is to keep the students and staff safe, while also building and strengthening relationships with our community. In addition to providing safety for the students and staff, I also put on the Too Good For Drugs program annually for our 5th grade class. This program is a joint effort between the Fort Payne City School System and the Fort Payne Police Department, with the goal of educating our youth in important life skills and techniques to avoid dangerous situations while also promoting healthy choices.
